    I wouldn't discount it totally. Unless they design the building such that it build up from the corner of the land. The gap from the road will definitely be the window to view the sea.

    I've checked with URA. Even if land is to be reclaimed there, the plot ratio will remain low, meaning houses to be built there can't exceed 7 levels.

    East Coast reclaimation is 'planned - in the pipeline', Pasir Ris is only 'if necessary' and only after 2030.

    Chester is right - URA says a study will be made in the future to determine if Pasir Ris needs reclamation. If so, it will be after 2030. And according to my relative who is in the shipyard industry, even if there is reclamation, only up to perhaps 400m of width will be reclaimed. This is to allow the gigantic oil tankers to pass through Serangoon Harbour smoothly. The current gap is 2km. Moreover, after land reclamation, buildings can only be built some years later.

    just check the masterplan. all landplots in the vicinity are meant for residential purposes

    i really hope its not too crowded and too close to each other cos everyday i go pass it seems to me that one day soon going to be many many many cars people and buildings there...

    but then again same story every where else in spore...

    Our area plot ratio is relatively lower than some other place lar.
    But of cause cannot compare with those 1.4 std

    my ex condo was 1.4 but with the kind of people staying there.....it felt like 4.1....

    I went to a 3.0 on a week end recently and it was really filled with people
