Default Cross Island Line (CRL) and Jurong Region Line (JRL) announced.

2 new MRT lines announced. Things are getting pretty interesting.

Properties on the areas impacted might get a boost, but are properties near MRT losing their novelty? Seems like in the long run, most properties will be near a station afterall.

80% of all properties will be within 10 mins walk from a MRT/LRT station.

Prices will still go up whenever they announce an MRT station within 100 metres of your house la!

i once saw an ad it says

near 2 MRT stations .. apparently referring to Commonwealth and Holland Village ..

it simply means ... it is not near any of the 2

Look at the map carefully, Punggol is not on the main line.
It is on the extension - option to build?
It is the first time I see such line, somehow it passes all the firm PAP areas.
Things are getting very creative now.

Where is the line from Yishun along the north coastal all the way to Changi Airport? (I stay at Yishun)

    Thanks,
    Richard
PS. If you care to read about Singapore history, Circle Line was the fist MRT line proposed, but was rejected.

Most probably the Yishun one will be later, when they decided to develop Simpang new town, and it will be connecting to that Punggol extension.

Looking at the LTA map super-imposed on google map, The Beauty World station could be Hillview Station

It joins Bt Timah and AMK by cutting betw 2 reservoir.

Horrors from the alignment I think the CRL westward from Sin Ming station is going to pass behind our house going into the catchment area between the 2 reservoirs.

It will force the monkeys to move out of the forest.....where to? our back yard?

Alamak might have to bring the Rottweilers back in.

Each violet ellipse may indicate at least 2 stations. No ellipse means no station. This is my guess.

No thanks. Family members might lose limbs or lives with those around. Those kind of dogs are siao one. Suddenly can go beserk out of the blue.

ohhhh........a few weeks ago, some people came to survey the house. They took lots of photos......I thought it was because of the estate upgrading works. But now come to think of it......it seemed excessive......maybe it was for this project. But perhaps it's too early since it's not completing until 2030.
