    Excellent for smrt bus drivers! Juz kidding.
    Most of the houses there are very rundown and at one stage, that area was full of foreign workers.

    In the final analysis.....its NOT whether you have a diploma,degree,masters OR PHD....its whether you have a HDB/PC/EC or LANDED...

    Just curious. What will happen after 22 years? The owner get zero $ or at least something after that?

    Yah lor...just like when any lease is over, you have to move out without any compensation. What's worse is that 'Landlord' can ask you to reinstate land back to original condition which means you may have to pay for demolition/clearing cost . However, this has not been proven yet as no leasehold property has come of age yet.

    Reason why shouldn't touch leasehold landed

    But understand if the land is of certain large size, there is option to top up lease.
