    Noob question. Is the annual value dependent on the occupancy status or is it fixed but tax rates differ for the occupancy status?

    in Singapore, no increase means good.

    Didnt you hear that is it reported that rental inched up a few percentage points this year (since last year) ?

    AV is fixed. the occupied house enjoy concession rate. the rented house normal rate.

    btw if you have 2nd ppty, your HDB maintenance fee subsidy is removed.

    My tax has been increased by 8%!
    (ok, my rental income has increased by 20%).
