notice how the stick the queen size bed to the wall to give you the impression of space in those bedroom?
The bedrooms are only capable of a bed. You jump right on it when you open the door. Doesn't that sound like the utility room for maids in older condos? And best of all, why no measurements? Isn't that part of the new regulation? So no one follows and authority does zzzzzzz...
Yee ha! Did I tickle your funny bone?
Must get the right stacks to stay away from traffic and mrt noise.Originally Posted by ekl2ekl2

Any news on the response at the showflat today?
Was informed quite a lot of pp. Seriously e kind of price is not meant for locals.Originally Posted by DC33_2008
Singaporeans are still very rich. $1600-1800psf for 1-2 bedders of $800 - $1.2 mil are still manageable for those from 40s.Originally Posted by hyenergix

North facing and try to get higher than Tanglin View.
The South facing has poorer view and facing MRT track. Remember that it is an overland track not underground. The noise can be
Although the direct line measurement of distance from MRT station is less than 200m but I don't think there is a way to access the MRT station unless you walk one 3 sides of a rectangle out onto Alexandra Road and round the corner (unless there is a future access path in the future from Alexandra View).

Yes it's very crowded here...
How is the showflat? Is it grand? Take some photos to give us a preview.Originally Posted by ZeeWee

Wished I can.. But not allowed to haha... Pretty good la..
got showroom pics?
Good layout and finishing. Below level 25 not much view, above that will be $1800psf upwards i think.
I am also eyeing on these two stacks. Will choose stack 10 if got choice and on 33rd floor.Originally Posted by chiaberry
Yes agree. Stack 10 looks good. Layout is decent.Originally Posted by DC33_2008
If I was younger and not already vested in the area, I would be eyeing that.

Stack 10 is pool facing and further away from Alexandra Rd, should be more expensive than the other block.Originally Posted by chiaberry
I don't think it's in D10.Originally Posted by dtrax
Tanglin Regency is in D10. Address is Tanglin Road. The rest are not (address Alexandra Road/Alexandra View). The GLS in Prince Charles Crescent could be D10.
ya exactly, but at 1800 == new CCR?Originally Posted by chiaberry

You probably know Hutton style. Not sure about CBRE style. Will hear from my agent when go down in the next few days.Originally Posted by maisonjai
Maybe its uniquely Singaporean......
Many hundreds (maybe thousands for the day?) braved the rain, lighting and thunder for the pre-preview today. Showroom packed with no seats available most of the time. Looked like all locals and amazing that locals do not seem to run out of money and units do not seem to run out of people to buy or rent.
The word is that this will be relatively cheap bec surrounding new plots will be even more costly, so better grab before it is too late.
Was told many cheques have been received and for the small units balloting will be required. Finishing looked so-so, as expected the rooms for the 732 sqfeet 2 bedders looked very small. Its > 500 units in about 110,000 sqfeet land.
But "cheap" is so relative. For the smaller units (at least for 1rm), the indicative prices start from 1.7pfs and likely reach >2kpfs by the time it reaches the 42th floor. And this is not even in the city. And so we understand that the prices for the surrounding plots will go much higher than these in the near future and these prices are cheap.
Some prophets in this forum have long prediced the day will come that OCR/RCR will touch >2000pfs. Looks like it is happening sooner rather than later.
For those who are interested, better go visit the showroom to place your cheques bec based on showroom crowd, this one looks hot.
Anticipated the weekend crowd. Will see if weekdays are equally packed. Balcony make sense if u have view towards south on 33 and above. It will at least $2k psf.Originally Posted by ekl2ekl2
