    Default Scam

    1) Received the following sms message last week :-
    YOU WON $1 MILLION AUD ON SHELL UK PETROLEUM DRAW. REF NO: XXX. CONTACT MR XXXXXXX, EMAIL: XXXXXXXXX

    2) Receive calls from :
    a) 0085219890037
    b) +401 (actually what is this number?)
    c) 00000000 (got such number meh?)

    3) Receive letter (a few times) from HK asking for donation to their HK children's home.

    Did anybody ever receive all the above?

    Just ignore them. 2(a) is from a HK mobile post-paid card.

    There are more version of these scam.

    All these messages (via SMS, email, etc.) saying that you have won in a lucky draw are SCAMS. As Kanarazu mentioned, simply ignore them.

    they are just hoping one out of the million mail they sent out to get trick

    just pretend to them on the phone u are so excited to have won something n see what they are up to next?

    Thank you everybody. Every time when I see such a message or phone numbers, I will ignore it. Sometimes, also receive calls saying that I'm picked for a free trip to certain countries, I just told them that I'm not interested.
