We are human afterall.
That is a smart move. Just like what happen to all the developers who will set-up individual company to build houses. Any legal tussle will not affect the parent company.Originally Posted by Regulators

it is the end of his career ... this kind of sell book author, most important is reputation / image ... it is worthless
frankly speaking there is nothing special about his books, he simply put investment 101 into an interesting brand called rich dad, poor dad
in fact, I have read 10X much better investment theory for free ... if you even can understand it
but at the end, it is the execution that matters, you have to put the theory to work
Ride at your own risk !!!
It also depends on the timing of executing his theory. I am glad that I have benefitted from it.Originally Posted by phantom_opera
isn't timing part of any investment theory so he never talks about timing lolOriginally Posted by DC33_2008
in day trading, timing is everything, in HFT, timing is in terms of nanoseconds
his is not even theory ... theory must be something fresh and profound

Why would his reputation get hurt just because one of his many company folds? Company liquidation is an everyday affair and he sees no point paying up $26 million and if he can save on that amount and continue with his book business elsewhere, why not? I think anybody would do the same.

The last is really a sad case. That why I told myself, must earn big bucks first, then can start playing. But life is a mockery on its own. We control our destiny.
I actually enjoy phantom's post. Very mind provocative.
It is so common in us to file chapter 7 and chapter 11.Originally Posted by Regulators

I took the road less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.” - Robert Frost quotes (American poet, 1874-1963)
Care to give a brief details about these two chapter in singapore?Originally Posted by chestnut

In order to show this Robert Kiyosaki book is not worth much, let me give u an example quote from George Soros:
"Unfortunately, the more complex the system, the greater the room for error."
"The hardest thing to judge is what level of risk is safe."
... if you apply the above quotes to Singapore property market right now which is very complex due to CMs and MAS ruling ... then you should pay attention to the 2nd quote
Enough said ... tCSS:
You with the sad eyes
Don't be discouraged
Oh I realize
It's hard to take courage
In a world full of people
You can lose sight of it all
And the darkness there inside you
Makes you feel so small
But I see your true colours
Shining through
I see your true colours
That's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show
Your true colours
True colours are beautiful,
Like a rainbow

This part I have been doing. Sometimes people get too much conflicting info and getting confused. So the analytical part is not honed enough. The worst is when things changes and they refuse to align.Originally Posted by phantom_opera
But I have true respect on your capability to find info and digest it. Not many have this ability because of laziness.
Cheers
Actually a lot of these books are saying almost the same stuff, rich dad is just saying it from a different perspective.
