Default How far should the property be away from a school?

    Hi,

I'm thinking of buying an apartment in a stack which faces a primary school. It's still BUC, so I can't go and see how noisy it is at different floors. Anyone has experience on what floor is relatively "safe" from school bells / assembly sounds etc? Much thanks!

School bells ring all year round.

Children cannot talk normally when in school, they scream.

Any floor facing the school will get the music.

You can go up Trevista to gain first hand experience. I have not tried this myself.

natural noise only during school hours, cannot be worse than highway, MRT, lorries, motorbikes, F1
Ride at your own risk !!!

Yes. Super noise when I am on the 18 floor but it is only in the morning from 7:30am onwards till 11am. By 11am, it is much quieter.

Yup, can hear school bell and kids talking during recess.
My fren stays in Bishan opposite a primary school.
She lives on the mid floor.
Whn I visited her, I could hear the noise.
    But happy noise is ok.
If you work in the day and would not be at home most of the time, it is ok.

    I would think that

pri school = screams / squealing during recess
sec school / JC = ECA time noisy (NPCC, band practice)
