    Default Properties in Geylang area hard to en-bloc?

    I was told by one property agent that properties in geylang area especially red disrtict harder to en-bloc? is it true? In the past any example of properties being en-bloc in geylang?

    Most are sold by private treaty due to the small plots involved. Don't even need to go as far as enbloc. When major condos like Wing Fong Court goes enbloc we shall see then. I can't think of any other old condo in the Lorongs between 4 and 24. Note we are talking large condo plot size and not apartments. For Wing Fong case, most owners are enjoying insane rental yield renting to we know who so doubt they will likely enbloc anytime soon.

    who initiate en-bloc? Owners? MCST? Developer?
