you socialise and you learn valuable insights at the same time. I would say it's time well spent. and sometimes you share info on good lobangs, like your hello kitty crystal is from swarovski.

Ya good good. I get addicted to this forum too. Sometimes, even when I have headache, I also must log into this forum to have a quick glance.

Another good things about drinking lots of plain water is, it will help you to slim down, oh that's what I heard from my friend.

I only drink 2 types of drink - Japanese green tea and chrysanthemum plus wolfberry tea.
I don't like the taste of water in Singapore.
In Singapore, I will only drink water if it is Evian water, but that is too expensive.

I am a sufferer of cluster headaches and when it comes, I just have to let go of whatever I m doing cos it could be quite unbearable. Used to consult specialists to find cures, also went into new age healing buying crystals that claim to reduce headaches... but eventually concluded that the best 'cure' is actually to identify the triggers...

For me, caffeine, chocolates and taking aftn naps are the worst triggers for my headaches. Once I abstain from them, my condition has become so much better over the past couple of yrs

    Iris, pls take care!

water is actually a very good lubricant for the body to cleanse itself.

by the way, I saw your hello kitty at swarvoski. Gorgeous, but the price tag very far off from US retail price... I wonder if it's cheaper in HK.

I got it from the airport at Bangkok on my way home.
After discount n conversion to Singapore dollar, it was about the same price as the online shop. The displayed price was much more expensive.
I heard it is cheaper in Taiwan n Europe.

You too, take care of yourself. My doctor advises me not to drink tea and coffee and not to sleep too much, haha. My sister-in-law told me that eating chocolates can also cause headache.

Hi kane, I walked into a Swarovski outlet in Tampines Mall and my jaw almost dropped when I saw the price of the Hello Kitty Crystal. The sales assistant said the display price is the nett price and no discount. Why is the price so inflated here?

Btw Laguna, did you manage to get it from HK?

    It is all about marketing.

Things are not priced to what they are worth but what the consumer is willing to pay.

It applies to Hello Kitty crystals, Levi's jeans, BMWs and properties.

Basically most Singaporeans are suckers (myself included)... if we weren't willing to pay such a high price for the things, they wouldn't be selling them at the ridiculous high prices that they are.

If one is in good health and exudes natural glow and radiance in a trim body, $10 jeans will look fabulous too.

I believe in inside-out beauty and not outside-in.

Sometimes buying clothes is not just abt looking good but also the comfort of the material. I ever bought a pair of jeans from queensway shopping which cost only $25 and design is good, but it is really not comfortable

It is true that most important thing of buying clothing is for comfort, but expensive clothing doesn't necessary be comfortable too. I bought a few suit of expensive clothing but wear once or twice only because I don't find it comfortable at all. Instead I have a few clothing, though are cheap but I wear again and again because I like the comfort feeling. I bought a pair of jean for $15 many years back and I'm now still wearing it. I don't believe in expensive products. Sometimes cheap things can last longer and feel comfortable too. I bought a pair of slipper for $1 from Bangkok few years back and am now still weaing it because it is light and comfortable, worth the money, yeah.

Yeah I actually own one and only pair of Levi's jeans.... And tt shld be the piece of most expensive casual apparel in my life

And yes, I m also a sucker for cheap, comfy & value-for-money clothings ... So next time if u spot someone in his early 30s at new launch showflats, wearing bossini/hushpuppies tees & berms and Instinct footwear (instead of Crocs)... Then u know it could be me... Lol

Branded clothes is definitely of better quality and can last longer. However if it does not suit you, it will not look good.

When I was younger, at times, I used to be upset with my husband's dressing. He dresses very casually when we are out.

Now I am perfectly fine with that.
Why would I want my husband to look attractive, for who to see?
I want him for myself only!
