Default Local doctor faces horror of dead bodies on ascent to Mount Everest

I find it hard to believe that the doctor, after trying so hard and risking so much to raise money for charity, only managed to raised $24k. I wonder what the fellow doctors who earn so much from patients and public subsidies are doing to help those from less privileged background...

If he had fainted upon seeing the dead bodies, would have made more news and the (undesired but not unwanted) publicity raised another 50k. Dumb doc.

Enough to live in HDB and drive Japanese cars only, if not for parental support.
It is only those high flyers that earn big bucks.

How can you ever wish that upon him!
One needs to keep moving to prevent frostbite in that kind of climate.

    Ok ok.... i know lah.
I feel happy for him that he succeeded although don't know him but happy that he is one of the few Singaporeans who managed to do so.
I will never know what makes these people train so hard just to get to the top.
I'd rather stay on sea level and enjoy the company of the forummers here!

You will not. But you get ATTITUDE sickness in ATTITUDE @ KIM YAM, and ALTITUDE sickness in ALTEZ @ TG PAGAR.

Peanuts can be $600k hor (some VIP said one). There should be a lot more senior doctors or those in management earning a lot more around.
