i think in particular this project, the developer really need to wake up...the pricing add a bit more u might be able to buy in CCR even though might be smaller unit.

Essentially the developer made the bad mistake of bidding too high for the land - their bid of $550M was $118M more than the next highest bidder

This was a miscalculation on a grand scale !!!

only 5 units sold in july. sales is still pathetic. after 4 months, only 130 units sold, despite shy habitat has total of 509 units. just managed to hit 25% sales

Fast and furious price rise over very short period may result in fast and furious price drop if unforeseen international crisis occur. That's why I believe the ABSD of 10% 'slapped' on most foreigner comes in to prevent this.

Hopefully not too much price fluctuation as otherwise more CMs may come. Best is slow and steady price rise for PCs which is sustainable. My

view

Does that mean buyer does not bother much about architect (world famous or not) if price exceeded expection by a large margin? More important to buyer is perceived value for money?

Agree. Plus with "sky", cannot buy low floor hor, to be in line with the name. At least 30th floor and above but then the price...
