The noise you hear at each floor is actually different. As u go higher and look at the road, ur angle of hearing will hear more vehicles. Each vehicle may be smaller and softer, but the summation makes it louder. However, due to the attenuation square law effect, at a certain floor the sound turns softer w distance.

then with the same amount of noise sources and assuming the waveforms are in similar phases, the equation holds. the equation speaks for itself.

sorry, dont get your idea of garden in compact living. you mean owners plant big trees (as shown in the brochure) in that corner planter box? imo, that is unsafe, the roots are unable to support the above ground mass.
