Another reason we pick homo over marble package because we like the color scheme of kitchen cabinate and bathroom.

May be a few years down the road, we can change to better quality natural marble, if strike TOTO. Not a very big area to change anyway. LOL!

some information i found on bidadari development...a bit old...

Bidadari Housing Estate to Retain Its Greenery and Heritage31 Jul 2012, 3.01PM
1 comments & replies |by REACH Administrator | Air, Sea and Land, My Habitat

The Housing and Development Board (HDB) has called for development proposals for the Bidadari Housing Estate, which will include a regional park, retain its hilly and lush landscape, and celebrate its history and heritage.

    The development is envisioned to:
Creatively incorporate historical elements and complement the existing Bidadari Memorial Garden which holds the tombstones of 21 prominent early citizens
    Be very pedestrian- and cyclist-friendly
Have seamless connections between transport nodes and places of attraction
HDB envisages the estate to be a ‘distinctive and sustainable tranquil urban oasis’ that offers 12,000 private and HDB flats on the site bounded by Bartley Road, Upper Serangoon Road, Sennett Estate and Mount Vernon Road.

The first HDB build-to-order launch could take place as early as 2015, with flats completed in 2018. The area is served by three MRT stations: Bartley, Woodleigh and Potong Pasir.

HDB is calling for expressions of interest to develop the estate's Master Plan. Up to five planners / consultants will be invited to tender for the project. The call for expressions of interest closes on 6 August 2012. HDB will most likely award the tender in November, while the Master Plan is slated to be completed next February.

looking forward to see the plan next Feb. I am really 'hopefully' that the amenities will be closer to the bartley road side instead of the woodleigh side..

Likely closer to the Woodleigh side, simply because the catchment area is there for business and it will be natural extension from the Potong Pasir side

Now. Take CCL one stop reach nex. It's more convenient than others which are in between MRT stations. Have to walk 10-15 mins.

Once announcement for Bidadari out, we will have clearer picture.

According to ascen88 post, HDB likely to announce something in Nov 2012.. still nothing yet..

It is not typical for Gov to set up MRT in quiet area. So there must be something planned for this area.
