    Default Housing Protection Scheme?

    guys, i need some advice.
    Do v necessary or most of the private property owner buy the housing insurance? cos what i know it is not required from HDB or the government.
    i bought the PRW 1 bed unit mainly for invest purpose, say will sell it after 5 yrs.
    It is my first time owning a property, hope advise from u guys.

    I am also wondering when to buy mortgage insurance? Buy when the loan start? What if something happens to me now and the loan not yet started? TIA.

    I find it painful as it is usually expensive. I prefer term insurance.

    If got more money, buy Universal legacy plan and take premium financing.

    check with income insurance, should be able to provide sound advice.

    Yup left 3br and PH , the showroom is super quiet.. was there again last Sat.
