Amazing. Bay windows + ac + planter + HS + balcony + yard maybe 50-55% of total floor area. The double ring of bay windows and air-con ledge around the master bedroom is as big as the bedroom itself! Truly a moat in the sky.

ppl are just blinded by the mere fact of "6xxk only" !

are local investors THAT gullible ? for 20% 120k cash I will by DBS bank share which gives me 4-5% yield, and it's liquid.

In my opinion Regent buyers mostly find being freehold and close to Saint Andrews are the motivating factors... Huge A/C ledge, planters and bay windows won't deter them...

If most of them bought for investment, I don't think they mind about the layout, afterall they are not staying there.

Poor layout and lower useable area will lead to higher $psf. It is not so near mrt stn at about 660m.

buy on floor plan i can understand lah. After that if still got subsale buyer when they view the liveable space i will be damn suprised.

All the worst features on wasting livable space is found in the A2 floor plan.

That is why there is an article somewhere recently saying owning property does not mean PROFIT

But seriously for those who need to pay only 20% around 100K ...it is very cheap! to own a FH unit?

It is like buying a pair of designer jeans that is one size too small, just because there is sale... Get cramps in balls later... What are they thinking?

was thinking government doesn't need to protect speculators... guess it's the masses who are more vulnerable in the government point of view.... still think it's going to be a really long term investment if you are not buying for self stay now

I think the 2 main features of the CM is not to protect the masses.

    60% LTV protects the banks.

    SSD punishes the speculators.

If the masses are protected as a result, it is incidental.

Masses live in hdb remember? Very well protected. Proportion of hdb to private still small.
