This year population up by around 100k but SC + SPR up by only about 17.6k
down from 91.2k in 2009 and 37.8k in 2010.
Not good next year when increment of SC and SPR is usually above 45k for the last 10 years.

exactly, at the same time lots of projects TOP and GLS supply non-stop ... i really dun know how can one be optimistic about capital appreciation potential going forward when what should be worried is whether can rent out or not especially in ulu OCRsOriginally Posted by yjcai
HDB rental should be more stable as large number of new migrant workers who just arrive will rent ...

I am still waiting for someone's opinion on why ppl would want to go for hillier when there are fh and 999yr condos with full facilities in the same area? wouldn't buying hillview height, hillington, glendale, hillview green etc be more attractive as an investment? It is not like the entire stretch is 99yr lh land.
Maybe these buyers are FEO faithful supportersOriginally Posted by Regulators

That kind of location soho for what? Office can register anywhere and still work from home mah. To me soho is really meaningless in that kind of location.Originally Posted by phantom_opera
Demand backlog is very huge for last 10 years. It is huge. Low interest rates are bringing people out to hedge inflation in properties and serve as genuine demand. I see sideways market in uncertainty, able to get rent is most important.Originally Posted by phantom_opera
I believe capital appreciation continues to grow if water supply, infrastructure and income level allows the population to grow with these fundamentals for more demand and supply is not able to catch up.

...in what way are TH and Fr similar to the Shore in terms of squeezing the space?......seems like you are still trying hard to condemn these two...which incidentally you seems to be keen on.........go on keep with your FEWLING.....don't think it will ever be affordable ....Originally Posted by flagship74
East coast area and Hillview area can compete for the most dense concrete jungle award. Just drove past shore last weekend. Silversea and Shore are going up. Pity Seaview with left and right view blocked.![]()
East coast traffic much better than hillview, peak hour traffic in hillview already jialat without hillier mall, with the mall and new residents moving in, I can't imagine the traffic situation![]()
