When Jackie chan was interviewed in HK, he said this film is to instill some positive values into the mind of the youngsters today.

Just look at how many theatres are screening this show and how many shows a day? Compare it with movies like Transformer and Harry Potter. These are the money getter that appeals to the crowd. 1911 ranks among the 'not too bad but...' movies.

Saw "1911" - story of Dr Sun Yat Sen's struggle to overthrow the Qing and establish the Republic of China. Absorbing history lesson. But Jackie Chan was disappointing
