    yes, exactly. feel being cheated, there are many more alternatives in the market if i can wait till 2014. I have been talking to sales and hope they would bring the pressure back to the developer. you guys should call fragrance and push them a bit.

    Another buyer because of early TOP.. For own stay i presume? Which stack are you buying?

    What? Who the .... Emerald?? Fragrance has hitherto been using FG Builders. Including those projects mentioned... FG is the fast reputation one.

    I realised Fragrance past speedy delivery has become their now Archilles heel. People have start to expect and demand the speed... I think they effectively dug their own grave. Or rather the agents marketing this attribute have.

    There is a difference between 18th Mar & 15th Apr pic. You can see there are pillars near Urban. 1 mth just to build that pillars. Hehe...

    yes, i bought it purely because of early TOP, the only project i looked at at that time. i bought a one-bed unit

    Gather up all the buyers lor. Can sue for misrepresentation of information. Compensation can be made for "expected loss".

    ie. If u solely bought this project because u were expecting rental income to come in by end of 2012. If u win ur case they will have to compensate u for the loss of rental income expected from 2012 end till u get ur keys.

    Same for own-stay, loss of rental expenses.

    I think more than 90% of the buyers bought because ERA marketed their 2012 TOP date.

    hmm apparently many of these ads been changed. Think the developer trying to safeguard their asses. many of the sites are closed. but i think some of the bros here kept screen shots anyway, it still depends who is gonna take the step into starting a legal battle.

    Bring this to the media? They're a listed hotel chain right? will hurt their reputation. (but they are budget hotels la haha)

    The stop work happened after a fatal accident at another site. I think it is something quite serious that caused them to stop work at this site. Legally you cannot do anything if Fragrance decides to build slowly.

    What makes you think I don't know? I have stayed there know the area well. rent out my props in CCR as well as OCR. I know the what the market price is.

    Frankly there are many choices in the area. A MM Cant command this kind of price in this area. Good luck to "investors".

    what i heard was they are now waiting for the cement to become dry and solid enough at the basement level, but this does not justify a 6month+ delay. True, they can decide to build slowly but the earlier information about top by 2012 was also truely a missleading marketing resulting in property purchases.

    Most if not all the ads have been removed... Its really a grey issue on the following grounds.

    1. Its the agents who advertised (whether acting on what developer said or not) so developer can deny making any promise.

    2. I suspect developer will merely say they are still honoring their TOP date. Anything else is a bonus. Its totally based on the S&P...

    The top no later than date is stated clearly in the sales n purchase agreement. There is nothing u can do unless they delay beyond that date, which is usually 2-3 years from purchase signing date. In any case, all those marketing ploys and what not dates promised by agents will not hold water in court, as nothing is in black and white writing signed by developer.
