very hard for us to exchange notes on certain topics...

bcoz in the first plc, both of us got very different moral values, culture and mindset

how is it that they can claim the selection process was detailed and thorough ..they even went thru grilling ..etc ..

and yet failed to filtered out Steve TAn...who dropped out last minute due to 'personal issues' ?

the process obviously fis flawed ...so if the ruling party, with so many years of experience, can fail in this area... shouldnt the people be equally 'forgiving' should the Opps fails to produce 'flawless' candidates ?

but we tend to be very critical on Opps ... in this aspect

there are talented singpaoreans lost opportunity every year eg replaced by cheaper FTs, I remembered an eestablished local newspaper ( a couple of months back)reporting a MNC employed a Financial controller , a FT from India, holding a master degree and paying him S$3800 monthly....

if get a few million every year for so many years, retired and enjoy life also very good what... health is important than enything else...

Anyway, still not convinced by the argument that GRC serves minority interest, more like party self-interest. The legislation can always provides for minority representation even in SMC.

Again another fear-mongering statement yesterday, that the oppositions will only field minority candidates because of GRCs.
