Re: property price drop due to recession ?

Good to see you around too bro.

For those in the market for property, stocks are running low with a healthy take up, build times are longer. Foreigners cannot come in to bid land for the time...

  3. Re: Firm outlook for private housing market belies risk factors

A couple of scenarios that I can think of:

    1) Open up Govt GLS more aggressively so that construction activity outside of their own builds (counter shortfall from canned HSR) will carry on. Money...
  4. Re: Buying new condo units isn't a profit guarantee

    This works for new development:
    1. Land bid price (the most important factor to determine if you will be an eventual sucker or not)
    2. Cost of Build + profit margin padded to it forms the developer...
  5. Re: Buying new condo units isn't a profit guarantee

No one in my circle buys property because the agent said 'so and so'. If you are that clueless, it's entirely you, not the agent.

Prop tech is probably going to disrupt the industry like what...

Re: property price drop due to recession ?

There is evidence based on STI and private property have correlation.
If you use all the data price points released by URA (pte property including landed) from the 90s and plot it to today.
    And...
  10. Re: More mortgagee listings go under hammer but buyers come up empty as sellers refus

My 2 cents reading of the market (property) is that we are at the mere start of the drop in prices and volume. It's quite a way down. Hang tight. Don't be fooled by the 're-opening'. 'A series of...
  11. Re: Wise to pay in cash for a property instead of using a loan or CPF?

Today when interest rates are nearing zero (or negative depending on where you are), it is very strange how people think of current vs future value of money versus leverage. To all the young...

The quality of advice and information in our news media baffles me sometimes. Poor wealth management is a sure fire way to not getting your dough when you need to use it.

    Re: The M

The M and its sale demand is setting the benchmark for Midtown Gardens launch this year. For investors wanting to enter D7, especially those who want smaller units, the door is even smaller now.

  16. Re: Publicly-listed S'pore developers to be exempted from QC regime: MinLaw, SLA

Wow how I completely missed that!

I am curious how the market will hold up this year when the Chinese are not here buying the top end for 1H 2020 and the middle feeling skimmed from slow moving...
  17. Re: Publicly-listed S'pore developers to be exempted from QC regime: MinLaw, SLA

Whats next? Loosening of CMs this year ahead of Election? This outbreak is a great excuse to loosen things up and 'give back' after 2019 <1% growth.
