Taxi becomes fireball at D'Leedon condo

A taxi caught fire at D'Leedon condominium on Thursday night (Sep 16).

In response to a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to a fire at No. 1K Leedon Heights at around 8.30pm.

The fire, which involved a vehicle, was extinguished using one water jet and two compressed air foam backpacks, said SCDF.

There were no reported injuries.

Mike shared videos of the blaze and said: "The burning taxi was near to villas' entrances so residents left through the rear doors."

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
