HDB flash estimate up 1.2% in Q2 resale flat price index

1HDB’s flash estimate of the 2nd Quarter 2009 Resale Price Index (RPI) is 140.0, an increase of 1.2% over 1st Quarter 2009. This comes after a marginal drop of 0.8% in the previous quarter. The historical RPI series is at Annexes A-1 (13KB) and A-2 (15KB).

2The Resale Price Index provides information on the general price movements in the public residential market. 3The RPI for the full quarter, more detailed public housing data for 2nd Quarter 2009 and upcoming new flat supply will be released at the end of July 2009.
