Hi TH gurus, I am a newbie, considering stack 7, may I ask will this stack be blocked by the FR, i understand there is a FR block in front of stack 7, and do you know how tall (how many floors) is that FR block?
At least how high should I be looking at stack 7 to ensure I don't see the units (eye level) of FR? and also not to be disturbed by the traffic noise of BKE? looking at the floor plan of stack 7, it should get some morning sun , is my understanding correct?

I know it is not possible to totally not hear any traffic, just want to gather as much info as possible before I start talking to agents.

Stack 7 is the premium unit, it will enjoy unblocked view, as seen below, it actually has nice garden and small pool view of FR which is situated in the corner next to TH block 62, FR block is further in so would not affect Stack 7.

BTW FR by design due to the high void betw ground floor and 3rd Floor unit - is going to be taller than TH, but is compromised by lower floor-ceiling height to keep within approved height.

Bro Dan u are good man provide a lot of infor ,picture and photo for tree house buyer, fr buyer and now may be potential buyer of es. Ur infor indeed very useful. With this at least ppl would not invest wrongly or buy wrong facing. Thanks and respect.. U are the man. Last u should claim u commission from all the agent.

If I can buy another one in TH, I will buy the highest in stack 1 Blk 60. Full reservoir, unblock, plus swimming pool streaming directly to the unit. You see water everytime. But east sun, if you don't mind. I don't. I love sun. :)

its nice to hear a new interchange at bukit panjang but when the bus arrives at chestnut area it is already fully packed with commuters. just can't board it. next bus will face the same problem unless off-peak hours. looks like these condo owners have to take condo bus. take bicycle to MRT did saves time.

Dear all, I work in real estate and I recently just bought a 2+S in Tree House for myself, after comparing many projects in the area, I found tree house to be the best and most valuable for money :) very happy to join this big family. I am really looking forward to my new home. I just added Tree House on Facebook, please confirm friend request. Hope to organize gatherings next time! I keep dropping by to look at the construction progress. Hopefully we can all get keys by June 2013. Cheers! :)

Dear all, the transaction is high floor and fully unblocked. Me and my friend each bought a unit at the same time. She bought high floor fully unblocked and mine is mid floor and also unblocked :) Her price is $100K more than mine. But her view is splendid :)

Haha Brother Mastrix, I also wish I can have such a nice view as her unit! But my budget is tight :( $100K difference in purchase price is to much for me.. I squeezed all my savings for the downpayment but I am happy with my humble unit. Haha..

In the days leading up to my purchase, I read through all the pages of the Tree House thread and its one of the reason why I made a final decision. I have been researching for a almost 1 year but nothing beats hearing from the owners. :) I would like to thank all members of the Tree House thread for contributing all the useful information and beautiful photos and progress of the construction, and even side by side comparison of Foresque and TH. It is very useful and informative :) Its a push factor for me to buy and be part of you all.

Hope to make more friends and neighbours. Cheers.

I only buy the project for less than 5 month and they slash price and I alway wanted to buy blk 103 instead 107.. The agent even can tell me can see mbs and Singapore flyer from my bedroom .. How can it be, block by blk 105 lay... :scared-1:

You can never be sure cannot see MBS and flyer till you see for yourself at TOP...maybe can see part of the banana...also shiok. Anyway u should be contented with Upper Pierce reservoir view. I want also cannot afford.

One way is to hook up a construction worker and pay :2cents: for a good service. He may be able to help.

Few months back, I was at Zheng Hua park on top of Chestnut Ave road, I met a Chinese Malaysian construction worker in charge of pouring cement on FR. He told me the rate of concrete construction was one level per week. Based on my calculation then, the concrete frame should complete by end Oct 2012 but till now still not finish. I should hv asked him whether can see banana from blk 107...:ashamed1:

Better not to start a face book.. Wish to share some infor with all the ppl here.. Like Wat u do provide a lot of useful infor plus photo.. Eg. New shopping mall near the corner if not I will never come to know that till it start to build. Some times it fun to read ppl giving good and bad comment of the project we buy. It entertaining .. How a rubbish chute positioning in the house also can be come a topic.wat next the price , the noise, now traffic jam also can talk.. It fun .. I buy the fr first than come to know this wed site if not will hold back till es release than buy.. i know from the previous threads that you're one of the most resourceful TH stakeholders. would you by any chance have the floor plan dimensions?

bought my unit subsale so absolutely no inkling how small the floor area is apart from the total floor area dimension.

wondering if living room can fit in large sofa, coffee table and tv console with decent walking space between them. my previous apartment is able to but realise most newer developments have very limited space :(

they are now working on the clubhouse....just installed the roof structure, ..drainage is being done up, some trees have been planted, the base of the vertical green is being laid, all interiors more or less done, except patio and penthouse.....tentatively its is expected to be delivered in April based on some buyers inside infor.

Bro fun, very easy just go and use the bedroom door as a gauge 900mm. Zoom the bedroom door to 900mm using photo copy machine than after that u can start to measure the rest of the wall. For example if the balcony entrance u measure is 2400mm which mean 2.4m or 8ft.. The scale is 1:100

Bro u mistaken me. U floor plan is not to scale than u got to make it to 1:100 scale so u should zoom ur bedroom door to 900mm as we know the door size is 90cmm or 900mm if u get this than floor plan will be accurate. Than u can use ur ruler to measure ur whole house dimension

This is Wat all the interior designer do.. Do u think they will quote u until u collected the key? No they can start to plan before u collect the key! If ur house is a landed at santosa cove, so big than it take days to measure all the wall.my new house top on 2015 but I already design the place up and prepare to hack down few wall to change it to 4 bedroom compact. U measure the bedroom door if it 600mm in floor plan just zoom it to 900mm but if 1000mm than zoom down to 900mm than ur floor plan will be 1:100. Any interior designer here ?

I did contact CDL last week, the property manager was away. She's back today but said they can forward only the scalable drawing, they don't have one with dimensions.

With a scalable drawing, I'll be able to work out the measurements.

BTW, the next payment is due around Feb/March.

in that case, put chairs around it and use it as dining table? Kidding. Consider the option of keeping in bedroom. Stool to be kept next to piano only when using. Drawing room being small, try to keep it as empty as possible.

CDL does not really construct unlike say Sim Lian or QingJian Realty. They award to main contractors to do the construction. The construction time and cost for CDL projects typically higher than other projects due to the environment friendly features. For example, building of pneumatic refuse system which can segregate materials for recycling.

I think foundation takes time. Most of the projects take 9-12 months for foundation. After that buildings just rise. TH took 2.5 years to this stage. NV also took around the same time after it's official launched. But look at H2O, 2 years after the launched still doing foundation. Obviously, less works were done during the first year.

The Lego (pre-cast) and partition wall system used by CDL shorten most of the CDL's projects. livia, NV are much faster than the respective waterfront series even though they were launched about same period.

The refuse system doesn't eat much construction time.

my last visit was: Workers were doing the main entrance and 2nd entrance (i guess this is fire-engine access)..

i must say the photos taken in the skyscrapercity are good in choosing the angles..:rolleyes:

They are fixing the sunshade for some remaining blocks and wiring up the lampposts...and the funny looking tree also have water flowing on its side.....looks done for most part....quite a number of workers were on gondolas fixing the sunshade and on the ground doing the landscaping..funny thing is some people go after 5PM or on weekends and expecting the place to be busy....mostly when it come to landscaping, you need to do in stages so not likely to have workers there 24/7. TOP possibly soon as you amy have noted some condos get TOP in phases so not necessary for the whole ground to be 100% done up....Foresque looks much slower in comparison....

went down site early this week. there were many workers around and some work was being done close to the generator though i couldn't see what was going on due to the hoarding.

one of the guys i spoke to said remaining work are some of the facilities like the steam room.

saw a couple of guys with clip board leaving the site, thought i could speak with them if they're tiong seng or cdl people but guy told me they're from bca. so hopefully, once they pass certain completed jobs, we could move on to next stage.:)

One thing I like of the design is: although the unit not directly facing BT reserve, but along the corridor toward bedroom, there is a full height glass / window. Quite a nice design while u can see nice view and the corridor is brightened by natural light.

Wise words sunray...actually it has just been confirmed that its just a fictitious character masquerading....a typical foreigner unless born and bred here would not understand a lot of the lingo and dialect ..... Foresque actually a much more luxurious design, but you do pay a price for it, if you go to the back you can get a good view of the pool area, very elaborate landscaping in the works.

That area selling a lifestyle, although neither here nor there, i must say the nature views are spectacular, so i still give these two condos my thumbs up. I would live in Eco sanctuary anytime compared to living in caspian by the mrt track.

...you must have made a tidy profit, what size was your unit? a 2+1 was sold for more than $1.1M...owner made over 300K....like-wise a low floor 3+1 over 1.2M...owner also made $300K plus.

...you must have made a tidy profit, what size was your unit? a 2+1 was sold for more than $1.1M...owner made over 300K....like-wise a low floor 3+1 over 1.2M...owner also made $300K plus.

I sold a 3+1 for 1.3X M. Yup made a tidy profit from it. Decided against moving in as its far from the mrt, and my family would prefer somewhere beside the mrt.

Otherwise the greenery would be wonderful.
