Thank you danntbt. Your photos never fail to motivate me and getting me excited. Can't wait for the day we get our keys... Living with MIL + frequent visits of SIL giving orders here & there is not easy :( :ashamed1: Luckily TOP maybe less than a year from now, if it's really 2014, I may not survive till that day.:sick:

Are you able to see the flooring...is it tiled? any idea which block tower crane is dismantled? Which means that block will be handover first...

Seems like TH will be a big playground for my kids.

Think the tiles should have been laid before the built-in are installed, aircon units are being installed, foundation for clubhouse are being done, and some parts of the pools are being tiled as there are canopies over some sections. Will try to drop by again on Saturday.

The crane for stacks 7,8,9,10 has been dismantled.....

Think the tiles should have been laid before the built-in are installed, aircon units are being installed, foundation for clubhouse are being done, and some parts of the pools are being tiled as there are canopies over some sections. Will try to drop by again on Saturday.

....by the way, only 2 cranes remaining in the front two blocks.....the small crane in front belongs to the Setia development...they are setting up their showroom. they cleared about 1/4 of their plot so far.

I heard from agent said patio and penthouse units will have higher ceiling...3.5m, isit true?

...Patio units does not look like 3.5, not sure about penthouse....possibly. From estimation, FR seemed lower, possibly to compensate the void between their cabana and the next level, but their cabana unit is over 4m high...really cool.

Ya, it was planted last week or so, trees are also appearing on viewing platforms on a few blocks, plus they have plants sprouting from planters that will feed the vertical green walls. The pool and water features walls are cemented, probably will start tiling soon.

as you can see the remaining crane is only now at about 3-sorey high..(Left bottom of the 2nd Picture)

BTW, agents from Huttons at Foresque are saying that the Mall that was originally planned to be located near Dairy Farm is now diagonally across FR.....

I think something still missing. I remember I saw the model in the showflat, they suppose to install an overhead canopy at all the ground unit and some outside the upper unit's windows. Maybe they will install it last...

The canopies should come later, but am wondering if the carpark entrance was not as describe, in the plan and model seen at showroom, there is a turf of greens over most part of it, but currently its not so.

The best spot to look at TH & foresq is to drive up to the landed house area along chestnut avenue (not the PUB side) both developemnt look grand from that angle. have very nice landed house too.

....the agent showed me the site plan and artist impression....lots of water and integrated with the butterfly trail that is coming up at zhenghua park....did not see the layout plan, he took my name down for invitation for VVIp in 1st week of Nov, will try to ask for layout plan when he contacts me....but don't think I will bite.....got to maintain some reserve.

wow~the ground unit got so much privacy! Full height partition wall between neighbour, high walk up...so those walking outside cannot look directly into the unit. Good Design! Should have bought one! :cool:

I believe its meant for verical greening purposes, thats why they choose this type of fence.

.....Possibly not...sorry made a mistake earlier, I meant Blk 66, not 62.

ECO entrance leads to a big round-about: Tower A and B is to the left and Tower C to the right of this area, as there is no building behind the round-about area, Block 66 looks in between the 1st cluster of AB towers and Tower C....that's my impression of the site layout, but need to align the drawings when I get my hand on ECO's site plan to confirm...

Nice photos - the blocks are more like point blocks which do not directly face each other across a lap pool, so doesn't seem as cluttered. Hopefully the final product will turn out nice.

....agent asked me to give him a blank cheque to show my sincerity for a VVIP invite before he is willing to give me the layout/floorplan, do not like this kind of arrangement so declined, even though its a common practice.

..launch should be 1st week November.

Buyers of Block 60 facing Eco might be pleased to note that ECO pool is at the corner next to your block.....so you would have pool view also.....Block 62 might also be happy to note that there will be 2 blocks to the right of TH entrance and another to the left further down at the former Chestnut Apt end, so the higher floor units in this block might be just overlooking their grand entrance with a big round-about possibly without any tall structure blocking...once I have the site plan I will try to merge TH and ES for comparison.

Hope the canal will be landscaped like Bishan Park rather than a concrete longkang as it is now....the ECO project also has a link bridge between the two towers on 14th floor which house observation deck, and small pools/bbq and such.

I went ion orchard on Sat, it was like fish market....ultra crowded and very stuffy. The air con not powerful enough for the amount of people. Less than 30mins got headache liaoz. :doh:

there is nothing big deal of having the chute inside or outside, so please done try to make mountain out of it. In fact after living in both, I have learn to appreciate having the duo chute system outside because there are no cockroaches in our apartment and at the same time, we can do our part to promote recycling.

The amount of time you are wasting on condosingapore is enuff for you to clear rubbish for 2 generations. :)

...no worries, those structures do not take that long to build,the main pillars and groundworks are in place.....problem is the certification processes may take a while as there are so many projects being completed.....

Its ok.....they still have view of the sky.....they also get to see aircraft flying around.....could be noisy though....behind them, I think its going to be 30plus story high HDBs as the 2.8 plot ratio suggest.....wonder how that would affect the wind....heard, the possibility of a mini-mall too - pocket-mon size....think it will be like 7 minutes walk away only, but like quite a few bus-stop to the Hub for the V-size Mall....poor fellow, not sure he is one of the better-to-do who could afford the 300K premium for the view....or one of those who would no-choice-but-hang-around-the-roof-terrace to get the most out of the view.

For plot ratio 1.4 (land between SM & OCC), it will be low-rise (same as MR). The plots behind will be high-rise with plot ratio 2.1. That's the intention of URA planning. They are also doing selling, with consideration of developers & buyers perspectives.

For those who bought with clear reservoir views, will remain. :D

Whether noisy or not, first have to consider the length of runway, the orientation of runway (flying & FA routes), the territory airspace, holding area etc. The runway (shortest runway among all others here) not able to support fast flying jets etc. Needless to say those big ones.

Nonetheless, still a good 2km away.

As for plot ratio 2.8 doesn't mean it will be 30 story high. Cant use 2.1 plot ratio at dairy farm area 24 story, then 2.8 will be higher. The answer is just next to plot you were referring to. I m 100% sure it will not go to that height, but i will use 88% sure. :D bcoz of 1 thing you're not sure :D No offense.

Why "poor fellow"? Was he not allowed to comment something negative abt that area? This is an open forum discussion. U are able to comment on other threads, why not accepting it?

haha you never know, depend on how you package your unit, secondary buyers would not have that many choices on the market, and they make decision based on how they feel in your unit, , showroom decision is based on how they visualize the actual unit....which are usually influenced by sales pitch...... In Secondary market, a better facing unit may be poorly maintained and a turn-off to the potential buyers....I have sold low floor , no view at aimilar price of high floor units.....the trick is remove all clutters and keep it bright and tidy....no frills as your frills may be others' spill...or pill.

Just look at yours as for the long haul, of you'll never be satisfied as there will always be better or cheaper options. In general, if you do not intend to hold for long, premium units may not bring in premium appreciation....likewise if you intend to rent out.

...nope...take a closer look, block 68 is angled to the right.....block 66 view is not fully blocked....rather is framed by Block B&C.....good thing is you are looking at a nice condo, not HDB slabs.....plus landscaping and pools....but generally as long as there is a distance, its not that bad...if you look at FR, those facing pool are also blocked by the blocks opposite...only South facing Blocks are likely to have unblocked view
