If going-to-be-24-year-old Yong An Park can hit a nëw hïgh of $1,422 psf, surely new Centennia Suites can hit a high of $2,844 psf (double) and an average of $2,142 psf (number swap). :D

Jackie Chan picks up 3 units at Centennia Suites

Emil Chau also buys one as showbiz stars dip into S'pore property market

(SINGAPORE) Hong Kong movie superstar Jackie Chan and his good friend singer/songwriter Emil Chau, who were in town recently for last Sunday's Thong Chai Charity Night, also picked up some properties in Singapore.

The duo bought four apartments at Lippo Group's freehold Centennia Suites worth over $10 million last week. The four units are on the mid- to high floors of the 36-storey condominium project, which is being built on the former Kim Seng Plaza site, opposite Great World City and facing the Singapore River.

Mr Chan is said to have picked up three units - two, three, and four-bedroom apartments - making up an entire floor.

Mr Chau, who is now known as Wakin, purchased a three-bedder. The two men visited the Centennia Suites showflat on Friday last week.

The marble floor looks unpolished. what is the bench looking thing that connects with the basin supposed to be? A table. A dead end table? The tap for basin is left handed and it's so high. It will splatter water on the floor. Even with a left hand, the pipe is blocking the knob.

Ok the floor plan did not show a "closed" kitchen counter top nor did it show a height difference between basin and counter top aka table.

But not my business. This is a nice project with future station right under it. jacky chan bought 3 units when it was launched.

any reason this project is selling at around 2300-2400 psf? at least 200 to 300 over the the trillium next door. same location and developer as the trillium, but on a smaller piece of land with no tennis court, no study room in the unit?

becoz jackie chan bought a unit? :ashamed1:

a few reasons i can think of but not sure if valid:

trillium is older.

trillium was sold at lower psf, hence asking psf on resale is lower.

centennia suites may have better finishing?

fewer units may be taken to mean more exclusive.

facade more appealing?
