Hello all,

I seem to find that older condos (10 years or older) are better laid-out, with more usable space & ventilation as compared to the newer condos that are all glass, crooked corners, smaller rooms, & bay windows. The older condos are also cheaper.

So, is there any merit in buying newer condos? And how old is old? Is it worth buying a 30 year old freehold condo in prime area? I would ignore the en-bloc upside because if it hasn't been en-blocked in the last boom, we've got to wait quite a while.
