anyone got any comments on this develoment ? the price is around 800k issit worth buying ? Is there any coming developemnt for the area ?

Hi,

During the recent MC meeting, one of the member actually proposed to build a NEW 24 storey block on the existing open air car park. Technically, it is possible as Cashew Hgts is built at half the designated plot ratio. I think it will be the first in singapore.

Any experts here can share their views on this, is this achievable and how can the existing residents gain from this?

I heard of this before...but takes alot of doing.
Have to finance the new block and the owners must be able/willing to fork out at least the down-payment and interest cost.

I don;t see it happening...even 30k to privatise HUDC estates got so much issue with residents

Huh:scared-4: you mean resident turn developer and and obtain the profit from the sale of the new block?

I thought it's a case of resident invite developer to build and sell, and they take a pie of the profit? :)
