Hiap Hoe launches Cuscaden Royale

By WEE LI-EN

PROPERTY developer Hiap Hoe will soft-launch its latest freehold luxury residential development, the Cuscaden Royale, today.

More than 70 per cent of the 46 units in the freehold estate, which occupies the former Angullia Park site, have already been booked at prices up to $2,600 psf with options given.

The development comprises one 19-storey block and includes three penthouses, 16 two bedroom and 27 three bedroom apartments. It provides facilities such as lap and wading pools, a jacuzzi, gymnasium, outdoor fitness stations, and a barbeque and teppanyaki area.

The three penthouses have been sold for an average $2,181 per square foot after discounts.

Hiap Hoe, which also is in the construction and civil engineering business, said that the soft-launch price of the units, which range from 938 to 1,948 sq ft, will be between $2,300 and $2,800 psf. Group MD Teo Ho Beng said the units have been taken up by a mix of Singaporeans and foreigners.

On the sand export ban by Indonesia, Mr Teo said it may raise costs by about 1-2 per cent, but is unlikely to cause delays to the development.

The Cuscaden Royale is expected to receive its temporary occupation permit in December 2010.
