AM I right to say no ABSD if I buy Industrial and Commercial properties if I own two residential properties now?

While there is no Additional Buyer Stamp Duty (ABSD) for commercial properties, industrial properties (a type of commercial properties) attracts the Seller's Stamp Duty. This is 15% of the sale price if sold on the first year, 10% for the second year, and 5% for the third year.

So if I hold for 3 years and above, NO stamp Duty right ?

if buy commercial properties, no ABSD. SSD apply if you sell within 3 years, not apply after 3 years

Maybe investing commercial is a better choice than residential !!

buy for own need okay but not investment, some industrial place cannot rent out at all due to restriction in use
