The Parkwood Collection Launch

The new cluster house development called Parkwood Collection looks like it is finally launching after a delay of a couple of months. Saw workers today putting up the finishing touches to the hoarding around the Parkwood Collection (https://esingaporeproperty.sg/property/parkwood-collection-houses/) showflat. This project is being developed by Fantasia Investment (Singapore) in the Realty Park estate at Hougang. The estate has been around for a really long time, so the new development will bring a breath of fresh air to the place.

Parkwood Collection will comprise 53 houses, 50 of which are semi-detached homes while 3 are terrace houses. Compared to the other recent cluster house launches, this is the only sizeable one within walking distance of an MRT station, in this case Hougang station on the North-East purple line. The showflat is likely to launch for viewing in late February / early March 2019, as the booking date is set for March.

The Parkwood Collection floor plans are finally out. And looking good too. Quite practical layouts, except for one where the kitchen is really big while the dining area is on the small side. They could have easily made that kitchen smaller, and the dining area wider, and both would have been a good size.

But most of the other layouts are good. And what is more important for landed housing, is that the bedrooms are a good size, especially the master bedroom which is really spacious. In fact, even the junior master at the Parkwood Collection houses are bigger than the main master bedroom in other cluster house projects.
