As above. Totally did not expect this.
Stock market will drop. Will it result in lower property price?
With London out of the picture, will hot money flow into Singapore?
Some people lost big time. Will there be cheap sale? Is it a good time to hunt for bargain?
I am as curious as you are.
The most reasonable answer is, nobody knows.
I do suspect a lot of people wagered big on them opting to stay on. Nobody knows for sure their profile. Although people vested in property are unlikely to have much cash to bet, they can access credit via margin trading.
And whilst there are losers, there will also be winners, although admittedly 9 losers to 1 winner. And the mood will surely be more pessimistic going forward.
And if the exit proceeds, there will be substantial outflow of capital and people from Britain. Will they opt for Asia over other European countries?
Too many questions. More than answers.

My guess is that there will be more people putting up their property for sale. Some may be willing to let go at a cheaper price to go for quick sale, especially if they are still in the money. Time to keep our eyes open.
Well, looks like the Fed will now defer raising rates for the rest of the year, and probably well into the next year.
In the near term, I don't think Brexit will have much impact on local property market.
If stocks are good indicators, then the impact to property locally is likely to be very muted. Barely sneezed so far.
But the most likely impact is on global interest rates. Here's to many more "good" years!
