After sooooo many calculations, you need to earn at least S$5,000 per month to own a car in Singapore!

why need a car then? imagine everyone can have a car. then the next question in the survey will be HOW MUCH U NEED TO EARN BEFORE YOU THINK YOU CAN AFFORD TO BUY A PARKING LOT

Not possible in Singapore. COE make more money than parking lot.

well not if the system becomes like HK. Car control is not don't base on COE but the cost of parking space. in the end people still pay but now the $$$ goes to developer who pocket the $$$. not to government in form of tax
