As above, when you see an advertisement stating '24 Hour Security' available in a condominium, what are your 1st thoughts and assumptions? Please select your choice in the poll.

1. Visible CCTVs installed (may not be working/recording) only>> no recording of visitors/vehicles entering

2. Visible CCTVs with monitor showing areas being monitored only>> no recording of visitors/vehicles entering

3. Visible working CCTVs installed and security personnel available 24 hours only

4. Visible working CCTVs and security personnel available from 8pm to 8am only

5. No visible CCTVs, security personnel on site 24 hours>> recording of visitors/vehicles entering

6. No visible CCTVs no security personnel. '999' is security>> no recording of visitors/vehicles entering

7. Signs stating CCTV and 24 Hour Security manning (but actually CCTV is not working and there is no security personnel hired)>> no recording of visitors/vehicles entering

8. Others ________________

So far, 40+ views and only 1 response?

Background of this poll is that I noticed that for small developments, many times, the advertisements state '24 Hours Security' and when you take a look, you realise there is no registry for non-residents entering the condominium and no guards when you arrive.

Some condominiums have a screen showing all that the CCTVs capture at the lift lobby or the guard house.

Very few allow residents to view in their own home.

Older ones do have CCTV cameras but you do not know if they are working.

When I ask the agent, they brush it off and say it is '24 Hour CCTV security'.

Like that also can?

Will a development command a better price with 24 Hour security (per the majority response to the poll)?
