I just heard that foreigners, like expat wives are no longer allowed to work as real estate agents.

is that true ?

Yes. My friend who works for top international property consultant firm told me some ang mo can't get renewal for their EP.

That's fair I guess ...

they are here as 'dependents' ... and with their expat spousal connections in the company ... they handle a lot of incoming expats ... leaving no opportunities for local agents ..

but.. PR so easy to apply..

there is a lot of PRC, PInoy, abnns agents who are PR Loh
