Saw an article in today's Sunday Times :
It says : Jurong is the new Orchard Road..........

Ochard road used to the be default shopping place, but now people living in western part of Singapore will think of JLD before they consider Orchard Road.

What is most amazing is that there are still 2 white site around JE mrt station that is set aside for more shopping malls. when that I happen, I think TANGS departmental store will also join in the party.

If Louis Vuitton opens in Jurong, then i can agree its the New Orchard Road.

By the way, Ang Mo Kio is the next Bukit Timah.....see the tv ads for Panorama....makes AMK so inviting.
