3 Lamborghini up in flames

PORT DICKSON: Three Lamborghini were involved in a road accident at kilometer 260 of the North-South expressway near Seremban at 9.55am this morning.

The Singapore registered vehicles were part of a convoi of five cars heading to Kuala Lumpur.
It is believed that one of the vehicles knocked into the road divider and two other cars following behind knocked into it.
Negri Sembilan Fire and Rescue department chief Norazam Khamis said two fire engines and 14 officers arrived seven minutes later but one of the vehilces had burnt completely.
"The drivers and passengers managed to escape unhurt," said Norazam.

I thought convoy at high speed is a stupid idea. There were many similar accidents in Malaysia highways involving S-plate sports cars.

At high speed >>100 km/h, do keep at least 15 vehicle lengths away from the car in front, and try to keep 1 lane buffer if there is a heavy vehicle (that are known to change lanes suddenly).

For night driving with no or poor streetlight, drive < 100 km/h and use GPS to know where the road is turning/ curving ahead. There are many bad car accidents in JB due to car crashing into barriers as drivers could not detect the turn/curve in front.
