View Full Version : Expat housing allowance
Anyone in this forum has any idea how much is the expat housing allowance for both single and family? What is the market rate? Care to share?
Usually at least 30% of the remuneration or pay package...
My work allows me to look into such details.

Thanks for sharing. So what is the acceptable range of rent for one bedroom apartment?
I think you have to consider that expat packages are only for a select few now.
A lot of foreigners are now on "local" packages. At most, they will get a single lump sum "settlement allowance" when they first move here. After that, they pay rent from their own salary.
Local term: S$0
Starting range: S$1.5k
Middle manager: S$4k
Senior manager: S$7-10k
