My friend's want to book a lorry for his company, it cost about $100k, CRAZY PRICE!!!!!! In the end, he has to extend the COE for another 5 yrs for about $30k. His current vehicle condition is very jialat liow, but what to do, new vehicle so expensive, small business can't afford for the current price lor.

1) Why not let the owner bid their own COE, at least they are more conscious about the pricing.

2) Non- commercial car : Maybe can increase the age for those who want to learn driving. IMHO, normally when they pass their driving test, either their parents will get them one or that they will try to get one for themselves (resale or new). This will increase the number of cars in the market and worst COE also increase. The agent will try to secure the COE that they bid high high, afterall, in the end, it is the consumers who pay for it.
