Why this index?
In Singapore, there is no official index to show Buyers' Attitude for residential properties. This forum is the best place to fill in this gap.

How does it work?
Everyone is entitled for one vote, the index is calculated by
the percentage of bulls - percentage of bears
(Please vote even if you are neutral because it will change the overall percentage scores).

Historical Numbers:

Quarter, Votes, Index
Q4 2012, 65, 12
Q1 2013, 35, 6
Q2 2013, 56, 0
(The max of the index is 100, the minimum of the index is -100)

So we are in a downtrend for 3 quarters now.

Thank you for voting - regardless of which camp you are in.

It is the first time that we are firmly in the negative range.

Thanks,

Hi Richard

Seriously, I wanted so much to buy ....but just too painful to pay ABSD... So I voted for 'unsure'.

But if there is no ABSD, I will surely buy to upgrade for own stay. Tks:scared-2: l

Let Office Boy share with you all why it is a good time to buy...

Theory of Concentration ...

When a benchmark is set for an area like Jurong, u can certainly expect prices to concentrate into CCR ...

Ask yourself .... If Jurong selling for $1,700, will you think Clementi at $1,700 is cheap?

If Jurong is $1,700, won't Bishan at $1,700 be cheap?

So, now that the hint is given ... Whether to buy or not is up to u lo!

no point arguing one way or another.

I think people has already put down their money and bet one way or another. Those who say it is going down has probably cashed out. Those who say going up, is still holding on.

Interesting...

Most of the people here already thinking us.....so let’s also hope all buyers will hold for time being maybe for 6 months like you have said…maybe that will be enough to give developers headache and cold sweats… Then, who is the ultimate winner will be clear….
