Will tourism be affected? If so, inevitably service sector will be affected.
The down side: Less revenue for companies & govt via taxes
The good side: Probably more discount will be offered by service sector (restaurants /shops) to attract /retain the crowd.
All the hot money will run away looking for fresh air.

To minimise the impact, perhaps it is good to get all companies especially listed companies to adopt sustainability reporting according to GRI requirements. Good if SGX and major exchange around the world mandate listed companies to adopt sustainability reporting with clear GRI index measurement:
This include reporting on:
-management approval
-economic indicators
-environmental pollution
-labor practice / decent work indicators
-Human right indicator
-Society responsibility
-Product responsibility
and not just P&L/Income statement......let the consumer decides to pay more for products from companies with sustainable practice or suffer health issue if get cheap cheap product from irresponsible producers....:2cents:
