View Full Version : Are banks still offering SIBOR
Does anyone know if local banks are still offering SIBOR pegged home loans after MAS findings?
SIBOR or SOR, Fed $85B in bond purchase a month will make sure CM8 coming sooner than expected.

No, hedgezero articles are always too early, sometimes 2-3 years early, so not much point reading.
China banks collapsing but it's not on the headlines. Weird right?
Everytime the Chinese govt says they want to control property prices, the moment prices fall, they gave in. This is a classic example of calling wolf too many times. When the Chinese authorities are really serious in cracking the credit bubble, no one believes it will happen.
To send an effective warning message, it is necessary for one or two banks to collapse, just like what the US did with Lehman brothers.

Thanks sgbuyer!
It is scary that this is happening in China.
Can't imagine what will happen.
another quotation i pick up:
better a few years too early than a day too late.
the depositors in cyprus would definitely be glad to withdraw their money a few years early than leave it in the bank a day after announcement for depositor bail-in was made.
