Yesterday i watched both episodes on dvd back to back and i am PROUD to say that i feel like a TRUE singaporean after watching cos i been thru the army and i can relate to everything the picture was about NOT many shows can bring about such patriotism in people anybody feel the same;)

That is correct. In fact, I feel like the main White Horse actor is about me. That time, my girlfriend also suddenly broke off with me. Wahpiangeh..I cried on SO many shoulders of my buddies.

It was land, air & sea. But considered as army. Was in the old Changi camp operate independently before shifted to Hendon camp.
Trained in jungle warfare, Ranger, Diver, Sky diver, anti terrorist at buildings in plane & on ship.. Red beret above the commando

Upon completion of my PTI course, there was a SOF recruitment going on, so I gave it a try & was selected.
My top form was in the SOF - 2.4km ran 8:03, cos SOF requirement must be 8:45 & below, otherwise will kena stay back for RT over the weekend.. So we all ran like siao lang.
And commando requirement is easiler at 9:15 & below
Anyway that was the past. Now I'm back to earth as a normal civilian & no more reservist, yet need you NS man to protect me instead

Nowadays the kids mostly can't take tough training compared to my time.. and mentally also not as strong. In fact I'm worry for my son as he is as soft as a jelly.
During my time, when we are physically exhausted.. we were trained to let our mind to takeover and to push-on till the end.. never say die

Perhaps a few will drop out and new names will appear, but the majority would remain.
so even if the value of my wealth in properties drop during the next occupation, so would the rest of the sinkies isn't it, so i would maintain my ranking in my country.

Purifying does not mean we could be like saints. But one should refrain from these EVIL in our World as humans; that is minimizing the EVIL thoughts.
When I read about human histories, they never fail to send goosebumps down my spine. The kind of physical torture the victors inflicted over the defeated is at the minimum, a form of True EVIL.
