DTE have one already. 24 hr 7 eleven will be good. A good bakery or bristo is desirable

Yup. I second this.

Would love to have one minimart if possible. Very convenient during raining weather or lazy-to-walk days. Haha...

A good bakery is good for nice breakfast or for tea.

A cafe would be perfect. :D

Double Bay Residences has minimart, nail salon and an education centre... if I am not wrong.

Below is a snap shot of the showroom model showing the commercial unit.
Hope this explain :)

But I guess the developer or MC has a option to restrict public access if it choose to

Good news to BiG Four neighbours, according to Seastrand thread. The two shops will be open to public. :)

acosean
04-07-14, 19:29
My wish list for the shops (just a dream only, I know wont come true):

1. To be located facing pasir ris link to benefit the big four. Wife says too long a distance to walk from rb to there now.

2. To have more instead of just two shops. We would have seen the assortment of shops in other develooments.

3. To be accesible to the pools. Imagine drinking coffee by the pool side at its cafe!

Just realised that contrary to popular belief, quite a large number of units of Seastrand and Watercolours have unblocked sea view! If you don't believe in me, take a drive along JLB today and you'll notice that some facing of such units are unblocked by either Ripple Bay or Sea Esta.

Thus owners of such units will strike gold.

Does anyone know whether Pasir Ris Rise and Pasir Ris Link have been built already? They're the two new roads that are meant to serve the residents of the Big Four and Sea Horizon.

According to onemap.sg, Pasir Ris Rise is the one that joins JLB to Drive 3, while Pasir Ris Link joins Drive 4 to Pasir Ris Rise.

acosean
26-10-14, 08:47
When we first coined the BIg Four, Sea Horizon wasnt in the picture yet at all. Moreover, as the four form within that trapezium and are built around the same time, they were seen together as a cluster. Very soon, the right plot of land to them will have new high rise residential developments, making the number more.

The Big Four residents will now face a new challenge - the used-to-be-free Car Park A in front of the Big Four has now gantry parking installed (Wilson Parking), chargeable even on Sundays or PHs. Implications - if our developments are full in parking, we can no longer tell our guests to park at Car Park A and walk over.

acosean
12-08-15, 08:31
I have been living since 2002 in the cluster of blks 531-536 near pasir ris fish pond and the nearest amenities is white sands mall, which is expensive in terms of daily meals at the food court there. However, after many years, before the new hawker centre is built, we are so pleasantly surprised that now across the road, at the BTO blks of coasta ris, we not only have a new coffee shop, but also sheng shiong, a bakery and more!

So my point is when more developments are built, TOPed in the Big Four area, surely more amenities will be formed soon. The coffee shop opposite sea horizon is just a humble beginning. We are waiting other convenient stores to occupy the ground floor of seastrand too. I won't be surprised more will come along the way, since demand there will be growing.

more importantly, there has been speculations on where the future cross island line station will be built. If it is near there indeed, we expect even more shops to come by.
