I think I better admit something. This thread is started in response to DUANEHNEH-C.B's threads on " HDB's & Condo crash".

So, it is started in jest and one should not take it too seriously. I have to clarify this because I see a sudden increase in viewership on this thread.

So, just dun read too much into it, good readers :)

The landed in that area is never very ex to begin with - mainly because most are located very near to TTSH, Ren Ci hostpials and Communicable Disease Center. Most people with that kind of money wouldn't want to invest in such a location beside Disease Centers. People who stay in condos are less particular and don't mind the diseases. if you want to invest in a landed property in millions, why beside disease center right?

That area that you are referring to seem to be Novena instead of Newton. I do seem to infer that TS's reference to Newton area should be areas like Makepeace road etc
