With M2 growth at 13.8% in 2012 and this year target of 13% ... it is a matter of time ;)

BEIJING: Chinese inflation rose more than expected to hit a 10-month high in February, official data showed Saturday, as holiday season spending and rapid credit growth accelerated price rises.

Inflation is a key issue for the ruling Communist Party as it brings with it the risk of popular discontent over rising prices and the threat of social unrest.

The consumer price index -- a main gauge of inflation -- rose 3.2 per cent year-on-year in February, the National Bureau of Statistics said in a statement.

It was a spike from January's 2.0 per cent and the highest since April last year, when it climbed 3.4 per cent.
