I think you are right, 6 to 7 months from now, which is by next Feb, payment for the complete of superstructure.

Depends on where are you heading?
Generally it benefits everyone, I guess, which is good. If OCR prices increased due to this, I assumed RCR will increase along with it?

i dont see how the TEL will benefit BR residents directly. bartley only has one mrt station serving it.. which is the bartley station.
its not like bendemeer, for eg, where the downtown line (with geylang bahru and bendemeer stations) will directly benefit the residents of boonkeng, who will be within walking distance of 3 stations, on 2 different lines.

I guess whether directly or indirectly, it will benefit those who rely heavily on public transport. The TEL is linked to the Circle Line at Caldecott and the Downtown Line. So even if it's not directly at Bartley Station, it does provides commuters with more options and alternatives which is always good...:)

Faiths/beliefs are personal and subjective, Your personal beliefs are really all that matter in your decision whether to buy. You should avoid if you seriously believe in that and are truly worried, otherwise you won't have peace of mind living there.

Not everyone believes in that. If you are worried, then you should look for another project. Anyway, all places have people who have died there before so for me, it doesn't matter. The world has been around for million of years. Trillion of creatures have died before at your house. And Singapore has been around for thousand of years. I am sure there are a lot of people who have died at the spot that you are at so I will probably screw that thinking. But if you are really not comfortable, buy somewhere else. If not, you will always regret making the purchase.

another way to see it... cemetery usually good fengshui, that's why the older people choose to bury the dead there... Works well so far? Bishan, Orchard.. etc

Confirm the columbarium will be removed. however, a modern parlour will still be there according to HDB.

Yeah guess I do believe in such things. All the signs are making me think twice about this project although it's city fringe. The columbarium/parlour, the SPCA where ill treated or abandoned animals are, somehow make me think that's why they can only put gurkha camp there haha.
Spca will be moving to new venue soon, by this year or early next year....
Columbarium will be movng out as well.... Funeral parlour is next to the lake.... i suppose, it will be something you won even notice about it when it is built.... like the mandai crematorium, so serene and peacefully done.

I guess it also depends on which side your unit is facing. If your balcony is facing a side without apartments, it shouldn't be an issue.

If your refinance before TOP, there may be penalties that make it not worth switching.

Hey guys, im back! Took some photo abt 1 week ago. Saw most blocks has reached top floor except for the 2 blocks sited at showflat(~8 floor). Expected TOP got pulled ahead by 1Q fr Q4 to Q3. As of sals figure, 97.2% as of today.
BRes is doing some final touch up so expected TOP in 3 months time i think.
B@B is opening showflat today and indicative psf will be 1.2xxk, slightly lower than expected so for those who miss both BRs launch, you may go and take a look B@B
Bidadary construction has started and saw phase 1 drain/road/piping expected to complete by 2017. Slower than what I expected but the once its up, appreciation of our property is no brainer!

But I feel highly unlikely because B Ridge is across a small road? A sheltered link way would mean building across the road to the SPCA side and linking to the MRT? Just saying...:)

The restrictions/recommendations are on the notice board outside the management office at B1. Take some time to read what is/isn't allowed especially when doing your renovation works.

The lobby of all the blocks are more or less the same. Inside the unit there are quite a number of defects, some of which are pretty obvious and makes one wonder why it was not rectified before handing over.
Normal, developer with rush for TOP first than rectify the defect.
Actually the number and severity of defects already pretty minimal compared to some other developments. All quite minor and easily rectified. Credits to the developer and contractor, more than half of those I picked out were resolved within a couple of days.

Oh yes, this I agree. After I did the joint survey, the same day they already sent the defects teams to correct some of it. The management office personnel has been most helpful as well. Kudos to them.
The lobbies look more or less the same! Or at least those blocks we went to. Let me try to post some photos of the interior shortly.

The bottleneck might be the appointments for verification and sign-off that the defects are rectified.
I got a call that the defects for my unit are rectified, but the appointment for me to verify and sign-off is a week away!
