Hi everyone, want to know roughly what is the property tax of #1 Loft. Anyone knows? If the buyer having a HDB on hand and also #1 Loft, so how does that affect the tax on the private property?

Babyt, I hv checked the brochure..all the toilets are provided with the exhaust fan for mechanical ventilation propose... How's the status of the site contruction works? Can send me photo?

seems like the site progress very slow.......still on 3rd storey..pilling completed on 25th February 2014........already 5months le, ......duno y so slow like a snail....normally, 10days can complete one storey.........
for this development:9 storey x 10 days: 90days.....By right, they can complete the roof structural works within 3 months......This is a laughing stock....dunno dragging so long for what the "FACK:....

I think so, maybe only 1 unit along the Atrium side. I couldn't see from my unit because mine is facing the west which is facing Casa Aerata & Rezi 26 (in a way, Rezi 26 also partially block my afternoon sun). I think only those units facing the East can see. But it looks quiet even sometimes when I was there in the evening, maybe they are on-call because sometimes I saw car coming to fetch one of the girls out.

A brawl in Geylang, which involved about 20 people, on Tuesday night (Aug 12) left nine men arrested and at least three injured.
According to a report on Lianhe Wanbao via MyPaper, the fight in Jalan Molek started after a foreign worker allegedly molested a woman, thought to be a prostitute.
Eyewitnesses said that a drunk worker allegedly touched a streetwalker's chest.
Angered, she fought back and even kicked him, and the two started fighting. A man who was acting as a "lookout" for the girls went to her aid.
The worker then called out to his friends who were nearby for help.
Soon, the "lookout" was surrounded by more than 10 men. About four or five of his friends heard the commotion and turned up, but they were still outnumbered.
Another six or seven people from an alley nearby then rushed over. The workers fled at this point.
In less than five minutes, the police were at the scene. They cordoned off the area and detained some people.
A resident, who did not wish to be named, told Wanbao that there have been more patrols in Geylang since the Little India riot late last year.
More than 10 police cars and a large number of officers were seen by the reporter at the scene.
Police said nine men were arrested in the operation.
At least three men were injured and one was taken to hospital, Wanbao said.

IMHO, some agents tell you high rental value so that you will engage them but I think it is not so much because my agent told me that it cannot fetch as much as last time liao in today's market especially so many projects going to be TOP soon. Unless you are lucky, maybe you can still rent out at this price.
Currently, there will be lots of TOP coming up, competition will be great, so if you can get a tenant offering a reasonable price and if the tenant profile is good, it is better to secure it otherwise it might take you 2 to 3 months to find another tenant, of course for those who are lucky enough, they might be able to get another tenant again within the same month.
There are different type of tenants in Geylang, not only ang moh, there are also Indians, Koreans, PRC, Malaysian, Indonesian and Philipino etc. I came across a "Hongkee" and "Korean" viewer too.

i also intend to install glass door for each room so that the aircons will work more efficiently.
I am wondering if I should knock down parts of the toilet walls, replace with glass to make the room more spacious.

I think it's very slow lor. Other people's project bigger scale and complete faster.
Better make sure that they give us quality finishing. Otherwise, I think there will be lots of complains.

i guess Sept will GET TOP approval from BCA..
but then...the developer will still need to conduct the in-house inspection , in order to rectify all the outstanding works and defects works..most likely would be in Dec 2015 to collect keys...

How is running track spot loght look like? Is it the one used at studio?
Has anyone contacted contractor and planning renovation? I wonder if we can combine our volume to get cheaper price.
