Convert into 6 bedroom suite and charge $850 per month = $5.100 per month. Annual gross = $61.200
In 22 years = $1.346.400
If location strategic rent the room to tourist $150 per night lagi better

Excellent for smrt bus drivers! Juz kidding.
Most of the houses there are very rundown and at one stage, that area was full of foreign workers.

Just curious. What will happen after 22 years? The owner get zero $ or at least something after that?

Yah lor...just like when any lease is over, you have to move out without any compensation. What's worse is that 'Landlord' can ask you to reinstate land back to original condition which means you may have to pay for demolition/clearing cost :banghead: . However, this has not been proven yet as no leasehold property has come of age yet.

Reason why shouldn't touch leasehold landed

But understand if the land is of certain large size, there is option to top up lease.
