will govt clamp down on those big big ec units 5 bedroom dual key penthouse....seems like developers dont care just wack BIG BIG units in their devts....:confused:

Looks like there is no meaning to EC for this category of units...i got a feeling there might be some restriction for developers that they cannot launch BIG BIG units in future...:cool:..for ec projects..what u all think:cool:

Low floor, next to MRT track and station. Trains pulling into station with brakes on will be quite noisy? Anyone in the train can look into the house?

Ok then. Sell ECs on 60 year LH land and 10 year MOP. That should rein in the developers and force them to make ECs affordable..

Not fancy EC cos they r giving basic stuff like homo tiles @ current ave price close to $800psf. Why issit so hot recently?

EC want to build 10 bedder also can. Anything more than $1.2m should not qualify for first timer $30k grant. that's raiding our precious reserves to give these people subsidy in their purchase when they can well afford to buy a private condominium.

It's only the penthouse that's huge, mainly because of the roof space, the rest of units reasonable size what. What is the big deal?

Let the developer sell some useless roof space to someone to better his margins to keep the units below cheaper... Nothing wrong either...

Let the market find its own balance...:2cents:

haha i was taking a cab home the other day and the driver was telling me how he is waiting for his 3 room HDB in jurong to hit 1mil. He say it's gonna happen soon! :scared-1:and after that he'd sell and migrate.
